Geotechnical Investigations involve the confirmation and evaluation of subsurface conditions affecting the geotechnical aspects of all projects including settlement, consolidation, heave, bearing capacity, etc. The investigations are typically completed using third party drill rigs designed to allow for proper recording and geotechnical testing of the various materials encountered at depth.
We have accumulated a wealth of knowledge via ongoing project challenges in various capacities. These include the proper logging of soils using the Unified Soil Classification System, identification of problematic soils including compressible and residual soils, installation of monitoring devices including monitoring wells, standpipes, piezometers and slope inclinometers, and the installation of proper remedial recommendations for all project requirements. back to index
